Cremation Urn Volume

The Angel of Grief® Art Cremation Urn is an incredible depiction of the weeping angel monument sculpture made in 1894 by William Wetmore Story, an American poet and sculpture for his wife Evelyn. The inscription reads: “The bud was spread to show the rose our Savior smiled the bud was closed. Anon". His beautiful monument was placed in the Protestant Cemetery, in Rome.

This beautiful mourning angel leans on the urn, mourning the loss of the loved one within. The angel sculpture is made of resin and the urn is hand made in the USA of fine rich walnut.

Since the art is not permanently attached to the urn base, many of our customers keep the art and wood urn together for a period of time. When the time comes, they place the urn base into a casket with a loved one that has passed, or bury the urn base. The art is kept as a family heirloom.

Size & Measurements:

This bottom loading urn is 200 cubic inches, large enough for an adult. It measures 6 1/2" across by 13 1/2" tall by 6 1/2" deep.

Engraving Details:

An elegant choice for home display. We can laser engrave into the wood urn with four lines of engraving. Here is an example of what we can do:
