Description:
Michelangelo's Pieta Cremation Urn features the famous image of Mary holding Jesus in her arms after the Crucifixion. This incredibly detailed depiction of the beautiful masterpiece is made of brass and has a bronze Flemish finish. The wood urn base is made of poplar wood and finished in a matte black.
Since the art is not permanently attached to the urn base, many of our customers keep the art and wood urn together for a period of time. When the time comes, they place the urn base into a casket with a loved one that has passed, or they just bury the urn base. Then they will keep the art as a family heirloom. Also, you could have the name plate removed and keep with the art.
Size & Measurements:
The overall urn measures 14 1/2" tall x 12" x 12". This urn has a capacity of approximately 280 cubic inches.
